Community Support
Investing in the Community with Nonprofit Grants
Get the funding you need to meet critical healthcare needs in the greater Birmingham area.
Every year, nonprofits are expected to do more with less funds.
The need isn’t going away, and neither should you. Through our support fund, we have directed more than $2.6 million to community organizations across the region—so you can keep providing critical services in our community and serve more people.
Expand Your Mission
Get the funding you need to expand your impact and plan for the future.
Let's Collaborate, Not Compete
You're uniquely meeting needs in our community. Instead of competing with local organizations, we want to support the important work you’re already doing.
See Our Community Flourish
A lack of funding shouldn't stand in your way. When organizations have the capacity to pursue their mission, the entire community benefits.
Addressing Critical Gaps in Healthcare
Access to Healthcare
Supporting organizations that break down barriers between vulnerable community members and critical care.
Behavioral Health
Investing in nonprofits that address insurance barriers, provider shortages, and gaps in mental health treatment.
Food Insecurity
Funding nonprofits that are working to make nutritious food accessible and affordable.
Educational Programs
Supporting organizations that develop programming to address the clinical worker shortage.
We give priority to faith-based programs meeting needs in these four key areas of greatest need, but funds are not limited to these qualifications.
Our Reach
We're more effective together.
Since our founding in 1967, the Baptist Health Foundation has remained committed to serving the Birmingham community with compassion and excellence. Together, we can help more people than any of us can alone.
